On January 11, the Great Hall of the People, Chinese president Hu Jintao issued 2009 state supreme scientific and technological awards, of which a number of achievements and individuals have been praised, including CISRI technological innovation platform project, which was honoured the second prize of the national scientific and technological progress. CISRI chairman Gan Yong accepted the award and had a cordial meeting with state leaders.
